Warranty

Warranty on All Products

We believe you work hard for your money and that it should go a long way and choosing to invest in our company is one way to do that. That is why our products come with a comprehensive manufacturing warranty on all components. How the warranty claim is rectified will depend on the type of damage or defect. If a part is defective such as a motor or chain control, we will send the necessary parts to switch on site and an instructional video to assist you and if a simple fix cannot be done we will fully replace the blind.

Here are the specifications for our various warranty options:

> We offer a lifetime warranty on the roller mechanisms including the clutch lift and chain control system

> There is a 5 year warranty on the blind fabric. If it yellows or frays we will send a replacement roll to switch on site

> A 3 year warranty on all motorization controls and all corresponding accessories and components such as remotes and Smart Hub

Videos and photos are very helpful for getting warranty claims handled quickly. For assistance with any warranty claims please contact our customer service at sales@zebra-blinds.ca.

What is Covered:

>Chain control defects that are present at first use or that may occur over time

>Damage or defects caused by shipping or handling. Shipping damage must be reported within 5 days of receiving your order

>Excessive fraying of edges of fabric or yellowing caused by sun exposure

>Defects in motorization control or supporting accessories that are present at first use or that present over time such as a motor that will no longer charge

What is Not Covered:

Defects or damage caused by the following:

> Improper cleaning
> Everyday wear and tear
> Excessive exposure to heat or moisture
> Altering the blind at home in any way
> Improper installation such as brackets not being installed level
> Damage from children or pets (spills and tears in fabric)

Shipping Disclaimer

You want to avoid any issues when claiming any initial damage or defect to your blinds such as staining, tears in the fabric or defects in the control mechanism, so it is important to carefully inspect the box and its contents as soon as your order is delivered and installed.

When opening your package, take care when using sharp knives or blades to open the box as excessive force when opening the box can cause interior damage to the blind despite the protective packaging inside the box. This type of damage is not covered under warranty.

Colour Disclaimer

Warranty does not cover discrepancies in colour between the photos in our online store and the actual fabric received as there are many reasons a colour could appear different on the screen. To avoid this, you can order free samples of all of our products through our online store to make sure you are ordering the right product for your home. 

Measurement Disclaimer

Errors in measurement taken by the customer are not considered a warranty issue. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the provided measurements are accurate.
